Challenge Tyres for Cyclocross, Road and Track Youth Racing

After discussions with Challenge Tyres, Italy we are pleased to announce we can now offer the kids what we think are simply the best in tyres in the world, as proved by legends like Matthieu Van der Poel, Sanne Cant and Tom Pidcock.

Challenge were keen to get on-board with our ground breaking bike range, creating the first youth-specific range of 700c race bikes. Alongside the involvement of Fulcrum Wheels of Italy (and our handbuilt HUP wheels) Challenge tyres represents the final piece of the jigsaw. Perfect for our philosophy, your child's bike should be better than yours!

For 2020, we will be moving over to Challenge Tyres as standard fit on all our HUP bikes, raising the bar yet again. From their superlight handmade Cyclocross Tubulars, super-sticky velodrome Track tyres to their famous Paris-Roubaix Road tyres - our bikes will have the best, fitted as standard. Just like Thibau Nys, Katie Compton, Ben Tulett, Christine Majors, Helen Wyman, Eli Iserbyt, Evie Richards and Elynor & Zoe Backstedt, the list goes on.

Beyond the stellar lineup of official Challenge Tyre riders, we've already been using their Tubulars for some time on our prototype HUP evo CX bikes and HUP azure track bikes with considerable success. They really are world class in our experience. The move will also reduce our standard bike build weights, including the all-important rotational weight. Their seamless constructed Latex Tubes have something of a cult following too. 2020 is looking even more exciting!
