HUP evo24 Cyclocross Frameset

The new HUP evo24 is a game-changing Cyclocross frameset, for riders too small for our legenday 700c frames. Based on 24" (507mm) wheels, this lightweight, low-standover and low stack frame shares the same high-spec as it's 700c big brother: triple-butted 7005 tubing, full carbon fibre fork and 12mm thru-axles with Flat Mount disc brakes - only smaller!

This clever frame design can deal with serious mud, thanks to it's class-leading 67mm clearance, which also allows the fitting of 47c tyres. Flat Mount disc brakes produce all-weather braking reliability. Stiff, lightweight thru-axles (just 80g per pair) and a long trail layout increase high-speed stability. A superlight monocoque carbon fork creates a very light front end, improving manoeuvrability especially for smaller/lighter riders.

With a triple-butted 7005 frame and full carbon fork, the #HUPevo24 is the lightest frameset available on the market, using internal cable technology with easy fitting for novice mechanics thanks to a downtube 'letterbox'. Running full-length outer cables ensures race reliability, reducing Winter maintenance to a minimum.

HUP evo24 frames are for riders approx 110cm tall upwards. Just like the 700c version, it's super-compact geometry on 24" wheels means riders can use larger wheels than is traditional for their size. Performance benefits of younger riders on bigger wheels are well proven and the practical benefits of component sharing with their parents and siblings is a well known too. Even smaller riders can fit our straight bar builds too creating a very capable MTB XC race or gravel bike bike.

HUP framesets have been specifically developed for children's long leg/short torso physiology with class-leading short top-tubes and when built with HUP components (like our 4-bolt HUP cranks at 120mm long!) achieve unrivalled fit. It's the frame kids want to ride, at the price parents want to pay!
